Well, it’s been a while. Covid, life priorities, and what-not. But after a long hiatus, here is an update on the price of Gold Sheen Sapphire over the last six months.
In January 2025 APN News reported:
- [Gold Sheen Sapphire…] Exceptionally rare, one-of-a-kind specimens commanding prices starting at $6,000 per carat.
- Rare grades range between $3,500 and $5,000 per carat, while
- Fine to extra-fine grades are priced from $1,000 to $3,000 per carat.
The National Herald reported:
“Prices for high-quality Gold Sheen Sapphires currently start at $6,000 per carat, but experts predict their value could exceed $25,000 per carat in the near future” (Emphasis original)
The Ahmedabad Mirror reported similar prices in July 2025, as did the Indo-Asian News Service in August 2024.
